Speech and Language Therapy Manager
Momentum is hiring a Speech and Language Therapy Manager. The Speech and Language Therapy Manager is be directly responsible for managing the speech and language staff and program. Works with the Clinical Leadership team to create and implement guidelines for the Speech Language Therapy programs including, department activities, program development, provides quality SLP treatments to program attendees, and provides guidance and support to SLP staff

Speech and Language Therapy Manager Essential Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with the Director of Professional Development and Clinical Research Coordination supervises assigned speech staff, including:
- Observing and evaluating treatments
- Scheduling and conducting meetings with staff regularly (and as needed pending needs of staff)
- Formulating plans to help foster staff development based on identified needs
- Mentoring and supporting staff with clinical reasoning and further development of clinical skill sets
- Ensuring staff are maintaining timely documentation
- Ensuring staff licensing is current
- Ensuring staff competencies
- Collaborating in establishing staff clinical and professional goals
- Conducting annual performance reviews
- Assists and supports with orientation and onboarding of new staff
- Assists with in-service training
- Provides guidance in continuing education opportunities to enhance professional growth
- Manages all IEE and IEP coverage, and direct patient care
Speech and Language Therapy Manager Qualifications:
- Master's degree in speech therapy from an accredited SLP program; required
- Successfully passed the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board exam; and maintained a current cleared credential; required
- Minimum of five (5) years, full-time experience as a practicing clinician (including SLPA) with progressive leadership experience; required
- Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California and proof of insurance; required
- Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, health screening, TB screening and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds
