Registered Nurse (RN) Training Educator
Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday
Momentum is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Training Educator to join our dynamic nursing team! The Registered Nurse (RN) Training Educator will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and facilitating new employee orientation and ongoing trainings of clinical and direct care staff.
In addition to providing education and training, the Registered Nurse (RN) Training Educator will provide nursing support, as needed, in our group homes and other programs.

RN Training Educator Essential Responsibilities:
- Develops, plans, organizes, and facilitates training to meet regulations and training needs
- Directly supervises LVN's across all programs
- Assists with onboarding, including employee orientation schedule and training plans
- Assists with the scheduling and management of Momentum certifications
- Assists with development and implementation of Special Procedures/Skills training plan quarterly, annually and as need arises.
- Develops and facilitates on-site in-service training for ADP/Residential teams
- Conducts on-site audits ADP/Residential teams for compliance maintenance
- Supports training team with DSP training of introductory clinical skills/monitoring
- Provides Safety-Care Training
- Acts as Triage/On-call coverage for nursing vacancies
RN Training Educator Qualifications:
- Valid registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California; required
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an RN; required
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in the field of intellectual, developmentally disabled or human services field; highly preferred
- Prior experience in training and developing staff; highly preferred
- Valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California; required
- Clean driving record with DMV driver's record printout; required
- Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, health screening, TB screening and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds
