Behavior Technician (BT)
Schedule Available:
- Varying hours, Monday through Friday
- Must be available to work evenings, as needed
We are seeking caring and motivated Behavior Technicians to join our team. In this role, you’ll work one-on-one with children and adolescents with autism in their homes and community settings. You’ll implement treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), track progress, and make a lasting difference in the lives of the clients and families you serve.

Behavior Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide direct ABA therapy to children and adults with autism
- Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress
- Support skill development in communication, social interaction, daily living, and behavior management
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and supervisors to ensure consistency of care
- Maintain professional, respectful, and compassionate relationships with clients and families
Behavior Technician Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework in psychology, education, or related field preferred)
- Prior experience working with children, youth, or individuals with special needs strongly preferred
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification a plus
- Reliable transportation to client homes and community sites in Harbor City, Long Beach, Lakewood, and surrounding areas
- Strong communication, patience, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed
Additional Quadfurcations:
- Successfully pass all post offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, health screening, TB screening and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to twenty-five(25) pounds
- Valid and current proof of legal right to drive; required
