Assistant Regional Director of Programs

This role will support locations in Sylmar, CA and Woodland Hills, CA.

Momentum is hiring a Assistant Regional Director of Programs. The Assistant Regional Director of Programs will assist with the administration and day-to-day operations of Momentum’s services and/or programs. Assists with overseeing and coordinating all aspects of placement for individuals being provided with new services.  Ensures compliance with licensing interpretive guidelines and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Assists with developing, implementing, and/or amending program designs, as required.  Assist with ensuring program operations are cost effective, promoting positive outcomes, and overseeing the health and safety of all people supported participating in Momentum’s programs. Acts as a Momentum ambassador and effective liaison between persons supported receiving services, families, the community, and other agencies such as regional centers, and Housing & Urban Development (HUD) apartments.

Assistant Regional Director of Program Services Essential Responsibilities: 

  • Support the day-to-day operations and administration of Momentum’s residential and community-based programs.
  • Collaborate with Regional Directors and senior leadership to ensure consistent, ethical, and effective program operations.
  • Assist with staff supervision, coaching, performance management, and workforce planning in partnership with Human Resources.
  • Oversee admissions, referrals, and placement coordination through site visits, assessments, and community partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, licensing requirements, and organizational policies.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to support adherence to clinical standards and health and safety practices.
  • Coordinate with Finance and Payroll to support budgeting, billing accuracy, fiscal monitoring, and expense authorization.
  • Serve as a liaison with families, Regional Centers, governmental agencies, and community partners.
  • Provide on-site program support, travel to locations as needed, and model Momentum’s mission and values.
  • Performs other duties as assigned to meet departments and/or business needs 

Assistant Regional Director of Program Services Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or related field, required 
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, required
  • Minimum of five (3) years in a supervisory role, required

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Competent in multiple technology platforms including, Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.

Requirements: 

  • Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds
  • Successfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license, insurance, reliable transportation, and clean driving record
