Pediatric Physical Therapist - New Grads Welcome!
Schedules Available:
- Full-time, exempt - $72,800.00 annually
- Part-time, non-exempt, 20 hours per week - $35.00 per hour
- Per Diem, non-exempt, maximum of 10 hours per week - $45.00 per hour
Momentum PTN is currently hiring Physical Therapists (PT) for our Torrance Main Clinic.
Momentum PTN has a rich history in the South Bay community as a dedicated and forward-thinking non-for-profit clinic for children with a variety of needs. Our multi-disciplinary clinic is designed to provide our physical therapists with the opportunity to experience collaboration on a whole new level. Our therapists can work in a variety of programs including, but not limited to, early intervention programs, Early Head Start, Social Skills groups, Summer Programs and Parent Training. We also have opportunities for career growth including supervisory roles and program leads for those therapists looking to take on more. Our clinic has multiple treatment gyms, treatment spaces and a warehouse full of toys ready to use. Our physical therapy department is full of excitement to bring on new clinicians to our team to further our mission of serving children of all abilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Promotes a friendly, comfortable, and safe environment
- Respects and promotes the right of individuals
- Provides outpatient physical therapy service in a clinical setting and/or within our center-based early intervention program
- Works alongside and collaborates with other professionals/therapists
- Varied caseload which may include early intervention and rehabilitative and habilitative type of services for children ages 0 to 18 years with a variety of diagnoses
- Follows and implements company policies
- Attends required in-service trainings and company meetings
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs
Education and Experience:
- Master's degree in physical therapy; required
- Current Physical Therapy California state license; required
- Pediatric experience in working with a variety of disorders; preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified; preferred
Skills and Knowledge:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English well enough to perform essential duties and responsibilities; required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Possess sufficient patience and understanding to approach people and their desired wants and needs
- Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with others
Requirements:
- Must maintain valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California
- Successfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, TB test, drug screening and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
