Director of Occupational Therapy - Pediatrics
Momentum PTN is seeking a Director of Occupational Therapy. As Director of Occupational Therapy, you will provide guidance and support to our OT staff. The Director of Occupational Therapy will participate in all OT department activities and ensure they are providing high quality, compassionate, and professional services to staff, children and their families.

Director of Occupational Therapy Essential Responsibilities:
- Directs and supervises the activities performed by the OT staff as mandated by CBOT and NBCOT
- Participates and leads administrative meetings
- Supports fundraising events and activities supporting the organizations mission
- Ensures staff are compliant with proper utilization of equipment
- Ensures staff are compliant with cleaning and safety protocols and procedures
- Assists and supports with orientation and on boarding of new staff
- Assists with in-service training for department staff members
- Provides guidance in continuing education opportunities to enhance professional growth
- Performs other duties as assigned to meet department and/or business needs
Director of Occupational Therapy Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy; required
- Current California Board of Occupational Therapy (CBOT); required
- National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) license; required
- Minimum of two (2) years experience as a full-time occupational therapist; required
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English well enough to perform essential duties and responsibilities; required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Possess sufficient patience and understanding to approach people and their desired wants and needs.
- Communicate and work professionally and cooperatively with other
- Must maintain valid and current proof of legal right to drive in California
- Successfully pass all post-offer, pre-employment screening requirements, including criminal background check, drug screening, and provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Ability to run, push, pull, bend, squat, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs.
